Alphalive / Young people

Big questions deserve real listening.

Young people ask searching questions about purpose, belonging and Jesus. CELCL hopes to develop an age-appropriate Alphalive pathway that makes those questions welcome, with safeguarding and family trust at its centre.

An honest invitation

Hear the question behind the question.

“What do I believe?” can be asked without fear of a wrong first answer.

Conversations may include identity, friendship, suffering, hope and the story of Jesus. The proposed approach is listening, exploring Scripture carefully and respecting each young person's pace. It is not an announced curriculum or a live youth programme.

Before any invitation

Care must be clear.

Local leaders and parents need a complete, approved plan before a youth pathway can be offered.

Which ages would be included?

No CELCL age bands are set. Materials, discussion style and adult-to-young-person arrangements must suit each group.

Who would lead and supervise?

CELCL has not named approved leaders or published a safeguarding policy, supervision plan, parent consent process or privacy rules for this pathway.

How would families know what to expect?

The future live page should state the venue, timing, content outline, accessibility, parent communication and a monitored contact route before registration opens.

For young people and families

Keep the conversation open.
